Traffic in the city is not overly busy, mostly due to a smaller population than there is actually room for, and local residents not getting tired out by a long walk through the city on account of possessing metal bodies instead of muscle. However, there is still a need for available transit of sorts- robots whose bodies are older and in a more fragile condition, those who need to transport more than their bodies can carry, and of course any offworlder who wants to get somewhere further or more efficiently than their flesh-and-blood legs will take them. As noted, taxis do exist, and there is a simple public transit (think a street car) that runs along the main roads at a reasonably steady rate. There are also transport trucks that travel in and out of the main city center, for buildings under construction, or running supplies wherever needed.

Vehicles are purchased through the AC Reward system, so they're understandably expensive to acquire. Characters can rent bicycles if they'd like to get around fast on a regular basis, though! Or just take the tram, it's pretty cheap.
